"Eurasian Vegetarian Society"
Non-profit partnership to promote healthy lifestyles "Eurasian Vegetarian Society" ("EBO") - an independent, international, non-profit association based on voluntary membership of individuals and organizations.
EBO - designed to bring together citizens, community, government and commercial organizations in Russia and other countries, all those who support the idea of vegetarian movement as a highly moral life, which is inherent in non-violence, compassion and spirituality. This society of those who seek to improve the physical, mental and spiritual health, a healthy environment, a healthy lifestyle.
The main objectives of EBO are:
- Promoting vegetarianism as a healthy lifestyle and means of physical, mental, moral, spiritual and economic improvement of mankind;
- Promotion and dissemination of vegetarianism as a lifestyle conducive to preservation of environmental protection and wildlife protection, environmental improvement;
- Peace, promote international cooperation in all fields of human activity;
In accordance with the objectives of the "Eurasian Vegetarian Society" has the following objectives:
- Develop and maintain a vegetarian lifestyle communities, families and individuals.
- The organization of exchange of information on the study, dissemination and practical application of vegetarianism.
- To promote and conduct medical, sociological, legal, environmental and other scientific and literary research in all aspects of vegetarianism - religious, philosophical, ethical, aesthetic, environmental, hygiene and health protection, and other aspects of the impact of vegetarianism on the person's health, society and the environment;
- To organize the service to ensure satisfaction with information, research, communication, education, interests and needs of vegetarians, particularly in obtaining literature and provide vegetarian food;
- Number of periodicals and literature on the subject;
- To protect the rights and interests of vegetarians, unnecessarily suffered for his choice to be a vegetarian;
- Find ways to guarantee the free vegetarians meet their vital principles;
- To encourage the formation of local, national and regional vegetarian organizations;
- Organize the various funds to support the vegetarian societies;
- Co-operation and representation of members in international, national, vegetarian and other state and public organizations of mutual interest.
"Eurasian Vegetarian Society" was established in May 2001. One of their goals considers the creation and consolidation of vegetarian societies in Russia and former Soviet countries.
"Eurasian Vegetarian Society"
is a member of the International Vegetarian Union (www.ivu.org) and the European Vegetarian Union (www.evu.org).
