Eurasian VEGETARIAN SOCIETY

Non-profit partnership to promote healthy lifestyles "Eurasian VEGETARIAN SOCIETY (" EBG ") - an independent, international, non-profit association based on voluntary membership of individuals and organizations.

EBG - designed to bring together citizens, community, government and commercial entities in Russia and other countries, all who have supported the idea of vegetarian movement as a highly moral way of life, which is inherent in non-violence, compassion and spirituality. This society of those who seek to improve the physical, mental and spiritual health, a healthy environment, promote healthy lifestyles.

Main objectives of EBO are:
- Promotion of vegetarianism as a healthy lifestyle and means of physical, mental, moral, spiritual and economic improvement of humanity;
- Promotion and dissemination of vegetarianism as a lifestyle conducive to environmental conservation, protection and wildlife protection, improve the environment;
- Strengthening peace, promoting international cooperation in all fields of human activity;

In accordance with the objectives of the "Eurasian VEGETARIAN SOCIETY" has the following objectives:
- To develop and maintain a vegetarian lifestyles of communities, families and individuals.
- Arranging for the exchange of information on the study, dissemination and use of vegetarianism.
- To promote and conduct medical, sociological, legal, environmental and other scientific and literary research in all aspects of vegetarianism - religious, philosophical, ethical, aesthetic, environmental, sanitary and health preservation, and other aspects of the impact of vegetarianism on people's health, society and environment;
- To organize services to provide the information, research, communication, educational interests and needs of vegetarians, particularly in obtaining literature, and providing vegetarian food;
- Periodicals and literature on the subject;
- To protect the rights and interests of vegetarians, unduly affected by his own choice to be vegetarian;
- Finding ways to guarantee the vegetarians at the free appreciation of their vital principles;
- Encourage the formation of local, national and regional vegetarian organization;
- To organize the various funds to support the vegetarian societies;
- Co-operation and representation of members in international, national, vegetarian and other state and public organizations of mutual interest.

Eurasian VEGETARIAN SOCIETY was established in May 2001. One of its objectives considers the creation and consolidation of vegetarian societies in Russia and former USSR countries.

Eurasian VEGETARIAN SOCIETY
is a member of the International Vegetarian Union (www.ivu.org) and the European Vegetarian Union (www.evu.org).
