"Vegetarian World" will bring together public, private and government agencies to improve the physical, mental and spiritual health, as well as create a healthier environment, the formation of the needs of a healthy lifestyle, promoting humane treatment of nature and wildlife.
"Vegetarian World" will show that vegetarianism - a moral life, which is inherent in non-violence, compassion and spirituality.
"Vegetarian World" will present a variety of foods, cosmetics, medicines, food supplements, household items manufactured for vegetarians.
"Vegetarian World" will allow the industry to develop a healthy vegetarian food products in Russia and other countries, to protect the interests of ordinary consumers of food products.
OBJECTIVE-FAIR FESTIVAL:
become a traditional annual event for the vegetarians in Russia and other countries, a review of vegetarian food manufacturers, and service orientation in the field;
create favorable conditions for the formation of concepts of social and public policy of Russia in the field of healthy living for the period of the 21st century;
demonstrate the ideological and moral approach to vegetarian movement in Russia, as an integral part of the vegetarian movement in the world;

Hare Krishnas in Moscow took part in the international exhibition "WORLD VEGETARIAN"
Game in the Eastern musical instruments and singing the ancient Vedic hymns welcomed dressed in traditional Indian dress, dhoti Hare Krishna members of the international specialized exhibition "Vegetarian World", held from 27 to 31 May in the cultural and exhibition center "Sokolniki" under the "Trading Forum - 2003 ", the press service of the Centre for Krishna Consciousness Societies in Russia.
Members of the Metropolitan Krishna community have been specially invited by the organizers as the representatives of religious organizations, strictly adhering to the vegetarian lifestyle and leadership in philanthropic distribution of vegetarian meals (humanitarian mission, "Hare Krishna - Food for Life" distributed 70 million meals to needy).
Most of the participants of the exhibition - which is not less than two dozen different firms and companies - representing commercial equipment, machines for making coffee, medicinal herbal teas, soft drinks, baking biscuits and breads, etc., ie, all that can be associated with the alternative power of Russians in the near future.
Hare Krishnas demonstrated at its booth numerous vegetarian books, videos, promoting the benefits of vegetarianism, numerous recipes, spices and herbs. Near their eskpozitsii could taste the delicacies and purchase products from high-grade meat substitutes, including soy.
"The very title of the exhibition said that vegetarianism is gaining popularity. In any case, it reflects the new preferences in our society - said one participant, "Vegetarian World", the head of the University of Vaishnava Brahmin Radha Damodar Das (Sergey Zuev). - Now in Russia is still not well-known vegetarian and is perceived as the most exotic. This undeservedly forgotten, although the revolution was in honor, and even considered a sign of advanced views. Vegetarian World promotes vegetarianism as high moral standards based on violation aversion, mercy and high spirituality. Vegetarian World showcases a great variety of food, cosmetics, medications, bio-supplements and household goods for vegetarians. Vegetarian World favours the development of the healthy and vegetarian food production in Russia and other countries and the protection of interests of food consumers.
